Many people ask wonder if the adjuster cover is supposed to spin, even if the pole is in static. The answer is "yes" even if both screws are screwed in on both sides of the adjuster cover, the adjuster cover will still spin freely at all times.
The adjuster cover shouldn't be making any scratching noise and usually never affect the use of the pole or interferes with pole dancing activities. It can make a noise of you bang on the side of it with you hand or foot, this is normal, however, we don't recommend you bang on your pole : )
