Keeping your pole very clean and using different grip aids is very helpful, however the kind of grip aid you use will depend on your skin type. You can also mix your different grips aids together for better results. There are also grip training gear & skin protectors that helps you stick to the pole so you can train longer periods of time.
Remember to never use lotions or oil on the pole! Don’t even use a lotion that same day you dance because when you sweat, those lotions oils will seep back out of your skin and onto the pole. Consider giving up lotion altogether if you can and use a Pure and Natural Aloe Vera Gel for moisturizing your skin instead. If you have dry skin, the aloe will help you get a better grip.
